Kestro Black Up-Down Outdoor Wall Light

The Kestro narrows at the waist and flares again at both ends, so a plain stretch of render, brick or boundary wall gains a sculptural line without any extra bulk. The body stands 26 cm tall and sits only 6 cm off the wall, which keeps it clear of doorways and narrow passages where a wider fitting tends to get knocked. Black is the finish here, chosen because it reads as a shadow in daylight.

Integrated LEDs sit behind the angled openings at the top and the bottom, throwing one soft cone up the wall and a second down towards the ground. That twin beam does two jobs at once: it washes the surface for atmosphere and puts usable light on the step or path below, so a single fitting can stand in for a floodlight and a separate marker. The tone is 3000 K warm white.

After dark the body disappears and only the light itself is visible, which is why the Kestro works in a repeated run along a fence line, a garden wall or either side of a door. Set the height so the lower cone lands on the walking surface rather than halfway down the wall. It fixes to an outside wall, so plan the cable route and make the wall good before the fitting goes on.
