Klyno Round Outdoor Wall Light

The Klyno Round Outdoor Wall Light gives a doorway, patio or garden wall a soft ring of light instead of a hard beam. A slim aluminium disc sits close to the wall and pushes light outwards from behind, so the brickwork glows and nothing shines directly into the eye. The shape is quiet and modern enough to suit a Victorian porch or a new-build elevation.

An IP65 rating means the Klyno is sealed against dust and protected from water jets from any direction, so it copes with British rain without needing a canopy over it. The LED is built in, which removes the job of changing a bulb on a ladder in January. Two light tones are offered: warm white for a relaxed evening glow, and natural white for a crisper, more practical light over a back door or a path.

The fitting hardwires to a standard mains supply and screws flat to the wall with the bracket in the box, a job for a qualified electrician. Three diameters are made, from a compact 15 cm disc for a narrow porch through to a 23 cm version that reads as a feature on a wider wall.
