Kova Walnut Cone Pull-Chain Wall Light

The Kova brings a vintage workshop look to the wall, pairing a solid walnut cone shade with a brass-finished arm bracket and a pull-chain switch. The cone faces downward, so the light lands where it is aimed rather than spilling across the room. Solid walnut means the shade takes on a natural patina over time, deepening in tone as the years pass.

The brass-finished bracket is pre-drilled for standard back-plate mounting, and the pull-chain switch controls the lamp locally without any change to the wiring. Each socket takes a standard screw-fitting bulb to a maximum of 40W, supplied to suit the destination: E27 (ES) on UK orders, E26 on US orders. Dimmable bulbs are supported, subject to the compatibility of the bulb itself.

The downward cone makes it a useful reading light over a bedside table or a hallway console, where it does the work of a table lamp without taking up surface space. A pair either side of a bed gives each person their own pull chain. Hardwire installation is recommended and professional fitting is advised. Wipe the walnut with a dry cloth and keep it clear of steam or damp, which can lift the surface of the timber over time.
