Leaf Print Chenille Sofa Cover

The leaf pattern here is woven into the chenille rather than printed on top of it, which is the difference between a cover that looks like fabric and one that looks like a photograph of fabric. Light catches the raised threads at different angles as you move past, so the botanical design shifts subtly through the day and holds up to being sat on without wearing away at the seat cushions.

Three colourways are offered. Willow Crest Ash is the quietest, a grey-toned ground that suits a modern room. Daisy Chain Olive brings in a soft green and works well with wood and rattan. Floral Vine Ivory is the lightest and warmest, good for opening up a dark corner. All three keep the pattern tonal rather than high contrast, so it reads as texture from across the room and as detail up close.

Chenille is a hard-wearing pile, which is why it has been used on upholstery for a century, and it takes daily use better than a smooth woven cover. Four sizes run from armchair through to a large corner or four seater. Measure the back of your sofa first. Machine wash at thirty degrees on a gentle cycle and air dry; avoid high heat, which will flatten the pile and dull the woven pattern.
