Linear Aluminium Wall Light, 60 or 80cm

A long aluminium bar, either sixty or eighty centimetres, giving an unbroken line of warm light along a wall. There is nothing else to it, and that is the appeal: no shade, no arm, no visible lamp, just a slim extrusion that can run horizontally above a sofa or a headboard, or vertically beside a doorway where the height of the room is worth emphasising.

Aluminium matters here. It carries heat away from the LED strip better than a plastic body, which keeps the colour of the light stable over time and stops the diffuser yellowing. Output is fixed at three thousand kelvin, a properly warm white rather than the slightly green neutral that cheaper linear fittings often produce, and the diffuser is even enough that you see a line of light rather than a row of dots.

White, black and gold are all offered. White is close to invisible on a pale wall until it is lit, black draws the line deliberately, and gold warms the whole fitting and works alongside brass and timber. It runs on 220 to 230 volt mains, is hardwired to a wall point, and is rated for dry indoor locations only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated first.
