Linear LED Pendant Light

A straight aluminium bar hung horizontally, with the LED concealed along its underside so the light falls evenly down the length of a table rather than in a single circle. That is what a dining pendant should do, and it is the reason linear fittings have largely replaced single shades over rectangular tables and kitchen islands in the last few years. There is no visible bulb and nothing to dust.

Two lengths are offered. The forty centimetre version suits a small dining table, a breakfast bar or a narrow kitchen island; the fifty-five centimetre version covers a full-size table and can be hung singly where two shorter pendants would otherwise be needed. Both use the same sixteen watt LED and the same aluminium extrusion, so the difference is purely the span of light produced.

Three light options are available: cool for a working kitchen, warm for a dining room, or a three-colour version that switches between settings. The fitting is not dimmer compatible, so choose the tone carefully at the point of order. It is hardwired and should be fitted only to a ceiling point rated for its weight, by a qualified electrician, with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit first.
