Linear Metal Silent Wall Clock 54cm

A wide, low wall clock built on a horizontal axis rather than a circular one, 54cm across and 31cm tall. The metal frame is slim and the acrylic face is flat, so the hands and markers are what you see rather than a heavy surround. On a long wall above a sideboard or a sofa it fills a horizontal space that a round clock cannot.

The movement is a silent sweep rather than a stepping quartz, so the second hand glides and there is no tick - worth a good deal in a room where people read, work or sleep. It runs on a single AA battery, which is not supplied, and lasts a long time between changes. There is no wiring, no plug and nothing to install beyond a hook.
