Lino Column Outdoor Wall Light

The Lino Column Outdoor Wall Light runs a single 50 cm line of light along an exterior wall. The body is die-cast aluminium finished in anthracite, closed underneath by a satin-finished glass diffuser that spreads the beam before it lands, so the wall picks up a soft graze rather than a hard stripe. At only 6 cm high and 6 cm deep it sits tight to brickwork or render and reads as a detail in the elevation instead of a fitting bolted onto it.

An integrated LED module supplies 1155 lumens at 3000 K warm white and draws 18 W in total, with colour rendering of Ra 83 so brick, timber and planting keep their real colour after dark. Light is thrown downwards only, which puts brightness on the ground where it is useful and keeps it out of windows and out of the sky. The IP65 rating covers dust and water jets from any direction, so the fitting suits an open wall with no porch or canopy above it.

One unit covers roughly ten square metres, and a run of two or three along a longer wall gives an even wash with no dark gaps between the pools of light. Lockhone supplies the Lino as a hardwired 230V fitting with the LED module and control gear already inside, so there is no bulb to buy and nothing to fit beyond the wiring. The LED module is replaceable by a professional and the driver is not replaceable. Fitting by a qualified electrician is recommended. Delivery takes 8-15 working days.
