Low Arc Copper Basin Tap 16cm

A low-arc basin tap for a modern bathroom, kept deliberately compact so it does not dominate a small basin or crowd a mirror sitting close behind it. The body is copper with a single flat colour applied over it, in silver, black, grey or gold. The monochrome treatment is the point: there is no contrasting trim, no visible branding and no polished bezel, so the tap reads as one clean shape from any angle.

Overall height is 16cm, the spout stands 10cm above the basin and reaches 14cm forward, which places the water near the centre of a standard inset basin rather than against the back wall. A single lever handle sits on top and controls both volume and temperature with a short throw. An aerator is fitted in the spout, softening the stream so it does not splash out of a shallow bowl, and a valve is supplied with the tap.

Copper is the right body material for a tap that will be used every day for years: it takes a finish well, it does not corrode in a humid bathroom, and it stays dimensionally stable where lighter alloys can distort around the threads. A 24in supply line is included. Because this is plumbing work on a water main, have the tap fitted by a qualified plumber and isolate the supply before starting.
