Macaron Glass Pendant Light 10cm

A small pendant with a rounded metal shade and a glass diffuser at the mouth, finished in flat pastel colours that give the design its name. At 10cm across and 6cm deep the shade is deliberately undersized, which is what makes it work in a row: three or five in a line over an island or a breakfast bar read as a rhythm rather than as a set of lampshades.

Five colourways are offered - mint green, orange, blossom pink, red and cream - and mixing two or three along a run looks considered rather than accidental. The cable and canopy drop to 140cm and can be shortened at installation, so the pendants can hang low over a table or higher in a stairwell. The glass diffuser softens the lamp enough that the fitting is comfortable to sit beneath.

The fitting takes an E27 lamp of 5 to 10 watts, sold separately, on a 90-260V supply. It is hardwired and must be installed by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit before work starts. Check the ceiling point will take the weight, and use a suitable ceiling hook or box if in doubt. Dry indoor locations only; not for bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2.
