Macaron Pastel Wall Light

A small rounded wall light in a soft matt pastel, built to add a note of colour to a wall rather than to light a whole room. It measures roughly 16cm by 15cm in a plastic and metal body, with a shape that stays flush enough for a narrow hallway or the wall beside a child’s bed. Four shades are offered: butter yellow, off-white, sage green and pale pink.

The LED is energy efficient and built in, so there is no bulb to source, and a switch on the fitting itself means it can be turned on and off without a wall plate or a pull cord. The light it throws is gentle and diffuse, which suits a landing or a bedside better than a task light would, and the matt finish keeps the fitting from catching a hard reflection.

The pastel finishes are best kept out of strong direct sunlight, which will fade any soft colour over time. Installation is a hardwired job for a qualified electrician on an isolated circuit; check the wall for concealed pipes and cables before drilling. Fitted in a pair, the shape reads as deliberate rather than incidental, which is usually the better way to use a light this small.
