Mairo Angular Aluminium Path Light

The Mairo is a slim angular path light that marks the edge of a driveway, a garden route or a set of steps. The body is a narrow rectangular column with a long acrylic panel set into the front, and the LEDs run behind it as a continuous strip rather than a single point. Light falls as an even wash across the ground and the wall beside it instead of a bright spot at the base.

The column is die-cast aluminium in a discreet anthracite finish, which sits well against modern render, brick and timber cladding without drawing attention in daylight. Two 5.5 W LEDs give a combined 1,200 lumens at 3000 K warm white, bright enough to show tripping hazards and step edges while staying comfortable to walk past. The IP54 rating covers dust and splashing water, and the driver is supplied ready to wire in.

At 100 cm tall it stands high enough to throw light forward along a path rather than only downwards at its own base, which is what makes a route legible from a distance. Set a run at even spacings along a drive or a border for a steady rhythm of light. The fitting is wired in, so plan the cable route before planting or paving goes back, and keep the acrylic panel clear of soil splash.
