Minimalist LED Wall Light 20cm

A rectangular wall light in aluminium, 20cm long and only 4.5cm deep, with an integrated LED behind a recessed aperture. There is no visible lamp, no exposed screw and no decorative bezel, which is the entire idea: it reads as a slot of light cut into the wall rather than an object hung on it. Used in a pair either side of a bed or in a run along a corridor it does a great deal of work quietly.

Four finishes are offered, black, gold, brown and grey, each anodised over the aluminium body rather than painted on, so the colour does not chip at the corners where a hand brushes past. Three colour temperatures are available. Warm light is the right choice beside a bed; neutral suits a hallway or a stairwell where you want clarity without coldness; cold white is best kept for a task position.

The body measures 20 by 12 by 4.5cm, which is compact enough to sit between a door frame and a picture rail without crowding either. Aluminium sheds the heat an integrated LED produces, which is what keeps the diode's colour stable over years rather than drifting green. This is a hardwired fitting with no plug or switch of its own, so it needs to be installed on a lighting circuit and switched from the wall.
