Minimalist LED Wall Light 25cm

A plain rectangular bar twenty-five centimetres long and only five deep, this is the kind of wall light that disappears until it is switched on. It sits flat against the plaster and casts light along the wall rather than out into the room, which is what makes it useful in corridors, stairwells and offices where a projecting fitting would be in the way or would throw glare across a screen.

Six colours are available, which is a lot of choice for a fitting this restrained. White and black are the neutral options. Green, red, yellow and pink turn the same shape into a small piece of colour on an otherwise plain wall, and because the fitting is slim the colour reads as a line rather than a block. The metal body is painted in a matt finish on every option.

The LED is built into the body and cannot be replaced, which keeps the profile thin. Three light settings are offered: warm white, cold white, and a three-colour version that switches between tones. The light is rated at three thousand kelvin in its warm setting. The fitting is hardwired and suited to living rooms, bedrooms, corridors and offices. Have it installed by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated first.
