Mushroom Glass Table Lamp 40cm

The mushroom lamp is one of the most recognisable Danish silhouettes of the last fifty years, and this version keeps the proportions honest: a wide, shallow dome sitting low over a tapered stem. It stands forty centimetres tall with a twenty-five centimetre shade, which is large enough to anchor a console or a wide bedside table without tipping into floor-lamp territory. The glass is moulded in a single piece so the curve runs uninterrupted from base to rim.

Colour does most of the work here. Orange gives the warm, slightly nostalgic look the shape is best known for, red is bolder and reads almost lacquered under artificial light, and white keeps everything quiet so the form itself carries the room. Whichever you pick, the dome throws light downward and outward in a broad, even wash, which makes it a good companion to a reading chair or the far end of a sideboard.

Four light tones are offered so you can match the lamp to the room rather than the other way round. Cold light suits a workspace, warm light suits a bedroom, neutral sits between the two, and the tricolour option lets you switch between all three. Bulbs are not supplied, so choose an LED that matches the tone you have selected. Clean the glass with a damp cloth and a little detergent, then dry it fully.
