Norva Concrete Planter Outdoor Wall Light

The Norva does two jobs on one bracket. A slim black aluminium loop carries a downward LED strip, and cradled in the bottom of that loop is a bowl of natural concrete that takes a small plant. Because the light points down into the bowl, whatever is planted there is lit from above after dark, and the same strip washes the wall below it. It is a planter and a wall light in one fixing.

The concrete is left raw, so it weathers into the wall rather than staying showroom new, and the aluminium frame keeps the whole thing light enough for a standard masonry fixing. It stands 44.5 cm high and is rated IP54, which covers rain on an exposed wall through a British winter. The 6 W LED is built in and included, gives 820 lumens at a warm 3000 K, and the driver is included and replaceable.

It suits a porch, front door, patio, balcony or courtyard wall, and reads best at roughly eye level where the planted bowl is visible. The plant is not included. The fitting runs on a 230 V supply and installation is best carried out by a qualified electrician. Water the bowl sparingly, since raw concrete marks, and brush the frame clear of leaves and grit through the winter.
