A shallow iron plate is turned down at the rim and finished with a band of oak, so the fitting sits close to a flat disc rather than a deep dome. The wood edge catches the light and softens what would otherwise be a purely industrial profile. It suits a hallway, a landing or a spot above a kitchen island where a deeper shade would crowd the head height and feel heavy overhead.
The shade measures 35 cm across and hangs on a 100 cm cord that can be shortened at installation. Seven painted finishes are offered alongside the oak trim, from plain black and white through to blue, green, pink, yellow and grey, so the fitting can either disappear into a ceiling or read as a deliberate spot of colour. Each finish comes in two light temperatures, a warm white for living spaces and a cool white for work areas.
An E27 LED lampholder runs on a 110-220 V supply. This is a hardwired ceiling fitting and should be installed by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit; the cord length is set during that work. Wipe the painted plate and the oak band with a dry, soft cloth rather than a damp one, and keep the fitting clear of steam and cooking grease.
