The stitching is dense enough to give the fruit a raised, slightly domed face against the flat ground, which catches the light differently through the day and keeps the design from looking like a print. The cover measures forty five by forty five centimetres, the standard square, so it will fit inserts you already own as well as any bought new. This listing is for the cover only and does not include a cushion pad. Wash the cover separately at a low temperature and iron on the reverse so the embroidery is not flattened, avoiding the stitched area with a hot plate. Keep the cover away from open fires, candles and radiators, and do not bleach, as the coloured threads will lift long before the ground fabric does.
