Pellora Alabaster Petal Wall Light

The Pellora shapes a single piece of natural alabaster into a soft petal cup and sets it on a slim brushed brass arm. Every shade is cut from real stone, so the veining and the depth of the surface differ from one piece to the next and no two lights read exactly alike. Unlit, the shade holds a quiet cream tone against the brass; lit, the stone warms through and the veining becomes visible.

Alabaster diffuses light rather than scattering it, which is why the glow stays gentle and even across the wall instead of forming a hard bright spot. The round backplate, the horizontal arm and the rounded drop stem are all solid brass with a brushed finish. The fitting measures 31 cm tall and 13 cm across, and projects 19 cm from the wall. It takes one small screw-fit bulb.

That projection suits a bedside where a table lamp would take up surface, a hallway that needs marking without glare, a reading corner, or a pair mounted either side of a mirror. Because the shade is natural stone, small variations in colour and texture are part of the material and not a fault. The fitting is hardwired, so a qualified electrician should install it.
