The Petra Travertine Pendant Light from Lockhone pairs a natural travertine drum with a band of dark walnut wood. Travertine carries its own pitting and open pores, so no two shades come out the same, and the stone reads warm and matt rather than polished. Light escapes through the open base and glows softly through the gap between the stone and the timber band.

At 17cm across and 12.5cm tall this is a compact pendant, small enough to hang in a pair or a run over a kitchen island without visually blocking the room. The 150cm cord can be shortened at installation, so it drops correctly over a dining table, a breakfast bar or a bedside table. The metal fixture takes a single screw fit bulb, which makes it simple to change the brightness or the warmth of the light later without changing the fitting.
