Remi Amber Glass Cluster Chandelier

The Remi is a retro arm cluster chandelier that pairs curving brass arms with rounded caramel amber glass shades and a solid walnut-finish centre cone. Each arm arcs outward and downward from the central spindle, with a carved wooden ball joint at the canopy collar, so the fitting reads as a sculptural silhouette from below and from across the room alike. It is a mid-century shape handled plainly, without extra ornament on the arms or the collar.

The caramel glass shades carry a soft swirl texture that diffuses warm light without harsh contrast, so the output is even at the table rather than sharply pooled. The combination of amber tones, burnished brass hardware and dark walnut timber is what gives the chandelier its character, and the three materials are all left visible rather than matched to one finish. Three, five and eight-head configurations are offered, with the three-head version measuring approximately 58cm in diameter. Bulbs are not included.

Remi suits dining rooms, living rooms, bedroom ceilings and open-plan kitchen spaces, and the configurations let it scale from a smaller breakfast room up to a grand entrance hall. Choose the head count against the width of the table rather than the room, and set the drop so the glass shades sit above seated eye level. Choose bulbs of a warm tone to suit the amber glass. Dust the glass and brass with a soft dry cloth and avoid polish on the walnut cone.
