Remote-Control LED Puck Lights, Set of Six

Six small round lights that solve the problem of a dark cupboard, a shelf with no socket near it or a wardrobe rail you cannot see into. Each puck is about 8cm across and holds seven LEDs behind a frosted lens, giving a neutral 4000K light that shows true colour rather than the yellow cast cheaper units produce. There is no wiring and no transformer to hide.

A single remote runs all six at once, dimming them together and switching them off after 30, 60 or 120 minutes so nothing is left burning inside a closed cupboard. Each light takes three AA batteries, not supplied, and will run for around 60 hours at full brightness or 100 hours at a lower setting, which for occasional cupboard use is a long time between changes.

Fixing is either by the supplied adhesive pads for a clean surface or by screws where the pads will not hold, such as inside a rough timber cupboard. Because they are self-contained they can be moved without leaving anything behind but the pad. Under kitchen wall units, along a bookcase or inside a stair cupboard, they add light where running a cable would mean lifting a floor.
