Retro Metal Analogue Alarm Clock

A round metal alarm clock in the old twin-bell shape, with two domed bells over the top of the case and a plain printed dial behind glass. The case is metal rather than moulded plastic, so it has some weight in the hand and the finish takes a knock. It measures 8 centimetres across and stands 10.5 centimetres to the top of the bells.

The movement is a silent, non-ticking type, so the clock keeps time without the steady click that makes an analogue clock hard to sleep beside. A night light is built into the case to read the hands in the dark, and the twin-bell alarm is loud enough to wake a heavy sleeper. It runs on a single AA battery, not supplied, so there is no mains lead. Choose pink, green, white or grey.

This is a household clock and not a toy, so keep it out of reach of small children, who should not have access to the battery or the removable back. Fit the battery the right way round as marked, do not mix an old cell with a new one, and take the battery out before a long spell in storage. Keep it dry and away from a basin or a bath. Wipe the case and glass with a soft dry cloth only.
