Retro Wave Frame Mirror 26 x 42cm

An upright mirror, 26cm wide and 42cm tall, with a frame that undulates all the way round in a series of soft waves. The proportions make it a portrait piece, which is unusual for a decorative mirror of this size and means it works where a wide one would not: on a narrow strip of wall, at the end of a shelf, or standing on a dressing table.

Five colours are offered. White and black are the neutral choices and let the shape do the work. Pink and purple lean into the retro reference and suit a teenager's room or a dressing area. Gold is the warmest of the five and sits well against dark paint or a wooden surface. The frame is a moulded AB plastic, so it is far lighter than a metal or timber equivalent.

That lightness matters in practice: it can go on a plasterboard wall with a modest fixing, or simply lean against the wall on a chest of drawers without needing to be secured at all. It suits a bedroom, a student room, a study or a small hallway. Use a fixing rated for the weight if hanging, and check for pipes and cables before drilling. Wipe the glass with a soft cloth.
