Reversible Two-Tone Desk Pad

A desk pad in polyurethane leather with a different colour on each face, so one mat gives two looks and can be flipped when one side starts to show wear. It does the simple job a desk pad is for - it stops a keyboard and a mouse skating across a hard surface, it protects a wooden desk from rings and scratches, and it draws a visual boundary around a working area on a large table.

Two sizes are offered. The medium at 60 by 30 centimetres takes a laptop and a mouse. The large at 80 by 40 takes a full keyboard, a mouse and a notebook alongside, and covers enough of a desk to define it properly. Both are 2 millimetres thick, which is enough to feel substantial under a wrist without lifting a keyboard to an awkward angle, and both weigh next to nothing.

The surface is resistant to oil and water, so a spilled coffee wipes off rather than soaking in, and a damp cloth is enough for everyday cleaning. Five colourways are offered, from the quieter black and blue-green through to pink and silver. Each pad is supplied rolled in a carrying case, which is useful if it moves between a desk and a bag. Keep away from direct heat, which can warp the PU.
