Rotating Wood Grain Wall Light

A wall light whose head rotates on the base, so the beam can be aimed at a book, along a wall or up at the ceiling depending on what the room needs at the time. The base is iron finished with a water-transfer wood grain, which gives the warmth of timber with the rigidity of metal, and the shade is acrylic so the output stays soft at the edges.

Four finishes are offered - a default light wood, walnut, black and white - and each can be had with a warm or a white light tone. Warm suits a bedside or a living room; white is the better pick over a desk or beside a mirror. The LED is supplied with the fitting, has a high colour rendering index of 97 or above, and keeps its blue content low so the light is easy on the eye at close range.

Mounted beside a bed it replaces a table lamp and frees the surface underneath; mounted in a hallway it can be turned to wash a wall. Dust with a dry cloth once cool. No medical or therapeutic function is claimed. This is a hardwired fitting: installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician on an isolated circuit.
