Round Planter with Wooden Legs

Lifting a plant pot off the floor changes how a plant reads in a room. On three slim wooden legs, a trailing pothos or a spider plant gets space to fall rather than pooling on the carpet, and the gap underneath keeps the whole arrangement looking lighter than a pot standing flat. The shape is simple and Scandinavian in feel: a smooth round bowl, a tripod, nothing else competing for attention.

The bowl is moulded from a lightweight and durable plastic in either matt black or matt white, and the legs are solid wood that screws in and out, so the planter packs flat and can be used as a plain pot if you prefer. That also makes it easy to swap the height around as a plant fills out. Three sizes are offered so you can group two or three together at different levels.

The smallest is fourteen centimetres across and nineteen and a half tall, the middle seventeen by twenty-three and a half, and the largest twenty and a half by twenty-nine point three. All three suit indoor use and will cope with a sheltered balcony or covered terrace in summer. Bring them in before frost, and wipe the wooden legs with a dry cloth rather than soaking them.
