Round Touch-Control LED Bathroom Mirror

A round mirror is the quickest way to stop a bathroom looking like a corridor of rectangles, and at sixty or eighty centimetres across this one is large enough to be the main mirror rather than a decorative extra. The edge is frameless, so the glass appears to float against the tile with only a thin halo of light escaping around the back of it.

Illumination comes from a twenty-four watt LED running the full colour range from thirty-five hundred to sixty-five hundred kelvin, controlled by a touch pad on the glass itself with no visible switch to interrupt the surface. Dimming is stepless across the range, so the mirror can be set bright and neutral for the morning and dropped to a low warm glow late at night without changing fitting.

An anti-fog heating element clears the centre of the glass after a shower, which is the feature that separates a bathroom mirror from a mirror that happens to be in a bathroom. The rating is IP44, splash protected, so it belongs outside the immediate shower and bath zones. It is hardwired at mains voltage and should be fitted by an electrician, who will confirm the zone is suitable.
