The Rovo Wood Rope Pendant Light hangs a single length of natural wood above the table and drops five bare bulbs from it on black fabric cable. The beam runs 116 cm end to end and just 7.5 cm across, so it spans the centre of a dining table without blocking the sightline between the people sitting at it. Each cable is bound to the beam with a coil of black rope, and the five drops sit at staggered heights, which breaks up the straight line and stops the row looking mechanical.

The wood is left round and unplaned, with the grain, knots and end-cut rings still visible, so no two beams look quite the same. Against the matt black sockets and cable the pale timber reads warm rather than rough, and it settles into a scheme built on oak, walnut or linen without dominating it. The bulbs sit exposed below the beam, so a filament or globe bulb becomes part of the design rather than something to hide.

Lockhone supplies the Rovo as a hardwired indoor fitting rated IP20, with a maximum suspension of 150 cm that can be shortened at installation to suit ceiling height. Five screw-fitting bulbs are needed and are not included, up to 60 W each, and the light is dimmable when paired with an external dimmer. Assembly is required and fitting by a qualified electrician is recommended. Delivery takes 8-15 working days.
