Saphra Gold Crystal Linear Chandelier

The Saphra runs rows of faceted teardrop crystals along an elongated frame, 80cm from end to end and 35cm deep. Each crystal is cut on multiple faces and pitched at a slight angle, so the tiers overlap and catch light from several directions at once. Clear and smoke-tinted glass are mixed through the rows, which stops the piece reading as one flat sheet of sparkle and gives it depth from across the room.

The frame is copper in a gold finish. The lamps sit behind the crystal rows rather than in front of them, so the glass is what glows and the source stays out of sight from a seated position at the table. Colour temperature switches through three settings at the wall switch, moving from a bright working light to a warm evening one, and the fitting is dimmable. E14 lamps are supplied with the chandelier.

A 120cm adjustable suspension and a matching ceiling plate let you set the drop over a dining table, a kitchen island or a long console. It is rated IP20 for indoor rooms, so keep it to dry interiors rather than bathrooms or covered outdoor spaces. Installation is a hardwired connection at the ceiling and is best left to a qualified electrician. Dust the crystals with a dry soft cloth with the power off.
