Four sea creatures printed large and loose across linen cushion covers: a turtle, a seahorse, a whale and an octopus. Each design fills the front panel almost edge to edge, painted rather than drawn, so the covers work together as a set along a sofa or singly in a bathroom chair or a coastal bedroom. The reverse of every cover is a plain solid colour drawn from the print.
The fabric is a light, resilient linen and each cover measures forty five by forty five centimetres, sized to fit pads up to fifty by fifty centimetres so the corners fill out properly rather than sagging. A concealed zip runs along one edge and disappears once the pad is in. Each cover weighs about forty five grams, which tells you how light the cloth is in the hand.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle, air dry rather than tumbling, and iron on a low heat on the reverse so the printed face is not glazed. Do not bleach and do not dry clean. Keep the covers well away from open fires, candles and radiators, and note that these are sold as covers only, without cushion pads of any kind included in the price.
