Seagull Wall Art

A gull with its wings out, cut and finished in polyresin and shaped to sit slightly proud of the wall so it throws a shadow behind itself. Hung singly it is a quiet accent; hung as a group of three at different heights and sizes, it reads as a flock crossing a wall, which is a far better effect than any single framed picture of the same subject.

Three colours are offered and they behave quite differently. Blue is the coastal choice and works against white or pale grey walls. Gold is warmer and more decorative, good in a hallway or above a console where you want a bit of shine. White is the most restrained and almost disappears against a light wall until the shadow gives it away, which is a nice effect in a bathroom or a bedroom.

Three sizes, twenty, twenty-five and thirty-one and a half centimetres across, let you build the group with proper variation rather than three identical pieces. The finish is fade resistant, so it holds its colour in a bright room. Each has a fixing point on the back for a small screw or picture hook. Check for pipes and cables before drilling, and dust with a soft dry cloth.
