Sevra Opal Glass Four Globe Wall Light

The Sevra threads four opal glass spheres onto a flat brass bar, spacing them evenly along an 80 cm run. The bar passes straight through each globe rather than stopping at a socket cup, which is what gives the fitting its clean line and lets it be mounted either horizontally above a mirror or vertically down one side of it. Brushed brass carries the warmth of the glass through to the metalwork.

The opal glass is fully diffusing, so each sphere reads as a soft warm circle instead of a visible filament. Four light points spread across that width fill in the shadows a single central fixture leaves under the chin and the eyes, which is the practical reason a bar of this kind belongs beside a mirror. Sevra measures 80 cm long and stands 11.5 cm tall.

Above a bathroom or dressing table mirror it does the work an overhead fitting cannot, and mounted vertically in a pair it frames a mirror on both sides. A single central backplate covers a standard wall box, so the existing wiring position usually suits it without moving the cable.
