Shakti Portable Table Fire Bowl

A real flame on the table does something no lamp manages, and at this scale it is a centrepiece rather than a heater. The Shakti holds a small reservoir of bioethanol inside a brushed steel body, and burns it as a clean, steady flame with no smoke, no soot and no smell, which is what makes it usable at a dining table rather than only at the far end of a garden.

The proportions are deliberately restrained: a low cylinder with a wide lip, heavy enough not to be knocked over easily, with the burner set well down inside so the flame is sheltered from light draughts. It suits a terrace table on a summer evening, a covered porch through autumn, or a hearth in a room where a real fire is not an option. There is no installation and no flue.

Treat it as an open flame, because that is what it is. Never move or refill it while lit or still warm, never overfill the reservoir, and keep it well clear of fabric, paper, planting and anything overhanging. Use it only on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, keep children and pets away from it entirely, and never leave it burning unattended.
