Slimline Metal Floating Wall Shelf

A slim folded-steel shelf that fixes to the wall and turns a blank stretch of wall into usable storage. There is no bracket to speak of - just a single folded steel profile with a raised back and front lip - which is why it takes up so little room. A run of them gives books, plants and small objects a place of their own.

Three sizes are offered so the rack can be matched to the run it is going into: a small for a narrow stretch of wall, a medium for above a desk or basin, and a large for a longer run. Two finishes are available, white and black, both powder coated to resist scuffing when things are slid in and out.

Used in the kitchen it holds jars and spices; in a bathroom it lifts bottles clear of the basin; above a desk it keeps books and small objects to hand. Wipe it with a barely damp cloth and dry it, rather than leaving water on the coating. Load it evenly and avoid concentrating heavy items at one corner.
