Slimline Rechargeable Desk Lamp

A slim desk lamp with a narrow head and a low, weighted base, designed to take up as little of a working surface as possible. There is no transformer block, no trailing flex in use and no bulky shade; the LED sits behind a diffuser along the head, which spreads an even band of light across a page or a keyboard rather than dropping a single hot circle onto it.

An 1800mAh lithium battery runs it cordless and recharges in about four hours from a standard 5V, 1A supply. Rated at 3W, it is designed for close task lighting rather than lighting a room, which is what lets it run so long between charges. Because it needs no socket it can be moved from a desk to a bedside table or carried to a kitchen table without rethinking the cabling.

Two finishes are offered: a soft rose gold and a dark grey, both matt. Wipe the body with a dry cloth and keep the charging port clear of dust. Charge it with a UK-approved USB mains adapter, which is not supplied, and recycle the built-in battery at an approved collection point when the lamp reaches the end of its life.
