A plain cushion with no pattern, no tassels and no texture beyond the weave itself, offered in eight colours and two shapes. It is the piece you buy when a sofa already has enough going on and what it actually needs is a block of quiet colour to hold the arrangement together. Bought in pairs, the plain faces let a single patterned cushion in the middle do all the work.
The cover and filling are both polyester fibre, which keeps the cushion light, springy and easy to wash. Two shapes are offered at the same price: a forty five by forty five centimetre square, which is the standard scatter size and will sit among covers you already own, and a thirty by fifty centimetre rectangle that works better as a lumbar cushion on a deep seat.
Wash on a cool gentle cycle, reshape while damp and dry flat rather than tumbling, since heat will melt and mat a polyester filling. Keep the cushion away from open fires, candles and radiators. Colours are shown as accurately as photography allows, but expect a small shift between what a screen renders and how the fabric actually reads in the light of your own room.
