Solid Wood Corner Wall Clock 34cm

Most clocks need a flat stretch of wall, but this clever design turns an awkward outside corner into a talking point. The solid wood body folds around the corner like an open book, with a clock face on each side, so the time is visible from two rooms or from both ends of a hallway. It is an elegant solution for open-plan spaces, chimney breasts and those corners that never seem to suit a picture or a shelf.

Each side measures 23cm by 34cm, with glass covering the dial to keep the face clean. The movement is silent, making it suitable for living rooms, studies and bedrooms where a ticking clock would soon become irritating. Finished in warm brown or pale beige wood tones, it complements oak floors, Scandinavian furniture and neutral paint colours, and brings a handcrafted warmth that plastic clocks simply cannot match.

The clock runs on batteries, which are not included, and hangs securely over an external wall corner with the fixings provided. Check that the corner is a clean right angle before mounting, and use suitable wall plugs for plasterboard. Dust the wood with a dry, soft cloth and avoid spraying polish or cleaner onto the glass faces. Keep it away from radiators and steamy kitchens, as solid timber prefers a stable room.
