Sonvel runs a single bar of yellow travertine along the length of a table, its open, pitted surface reading as solid rock beneath a quiet pale wood canopy. A soft warm wash falls straight down onto the surface below. It lights a four to six seat dining table, a kitchen island or a long console from end to end.
