Sova Frosted Glass Brass Chandelier

The Sova is a five-arm chandelier with a mid-century warmth to it. A fluted dark walnut column descends from the ceiling rose and branches into five antique brass arms, each holding a round frosted glass shade. The proportions are generous and the silhouette is distinctive from across a room, but the mix of timber, brass and frosted glass keeps the whole thing warm rather than showy.

The five frosted globes diffuse light evenly and broadly, so the output fills a room steadily instead of casting harsh shadows beneath the arms. The brass arms meet at a central hub, which keeps the chandelier hanging level and looking balanced from every angle in the room. A 50 cm hanging rod is included and can be extended on request. The lampholders take a standard screw fitting.

Sova is at its best over a dining table, in an open-plan living area or in a large bedroom where there is height to give it. Measure the drop before ordering, as the standard rod suits a normal ceiling and a longer one may be needed above a stairwell or under tall ceilings. The chandelier is hardwired and requires a professional electrician. Bulbs are not included: E27 on UK orders, E26 on US orders.
