Stone Effect Round Wall Light

A plain circular disc finished to look and feel like natural stone, with the light escaping around the rim rather than firing straight out of the face. The result is a halo on the wall rather than a bright spot, which is what makes a disc sconce work in a living room: it lifts the whole wall a little instead of drawing the eye to the fitting itself.

Two diameters are offered, 23cm and 30cm, and both project only a short way from the wall. The smaller suits a bedside or a stairwell; the larger holds a chimney breast or a long hallway on its own, or works as a pair either side of a bed. Three colour temperatures are available: warm 3000K, neutral 4500K and a cooler 6000K, so the same fitting can read as soft or as crisp depending on the room.

The finish is a natural stone effect rather than quarried stone, so the fitting stays light enough for ordinary wall fixings. It is a hardwired mains sconce with an integrated LED and must be installed by a qualified electrician, with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit before work starts. Rated for dry indoor locations only and not for bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. Dust with a dry soft cloth with the power off.
