Sunflower Plush Seat Cushion

A round plush cushion is one of those things that ends up being used for far more than it was bought for: a seat pad on a hard dining chair, a floor cushion for a child watching television, extra height on a window seat, or simply something soft thrown into the corner of a sofa. The sunflower form gives it a shape worth looking at when it is not being sat on.

The face is a soft plush pile over a cotton and polyester fill, dense enough to give real cushioning on a wooden chair rather than compressing flat after a week. Six designs are offered, each a different expression worked into the flower face, so they can be mixed around a table or bought as a matching set.

Three sizes are available: 38cm for a dining or desk chair, 48cm for an armchair or a bench, and 58cm as a proper floor cushion. The larger sizes are the ones that get used on the floor, so bear in mind that a plush cushion will slide on polished boards or tiles — use it on a rug or a non-slip surface. It is not a toy: keep it out of cots and away from open flames, and supervise very young children using the floor sizes.
