The Suno Sunset Glass Pendant Light hangs from a slim cable and holds a domed white shade above a stack of orange louvres. Light passing between the louvres picks up the colour and drops it onto the surface below, so the fitting gives off the warm tone of late afternoon sun. The dome measures 30 cm across and 30 cm deep.

The louvres also screen the bulb from view at eye level, which keeps glare down over a dining table or a kitchen island. White and orange sit together without competing, and the outline draws on Bauhaus lighting, where plain geometry does the work instead of ornament. Suno belongs to the Lockhone indoor lighting range and suits a living room, a sunroom or a covered balcony.

The pendant is built from metal, glass and acrylic and weighs 3 kg. It takes an E27 bulb, which is not included, so the warmth of the light can be set by the choice of lamp. A dry cloth is enough to keep the dome and the louvres clean.
