Sweet Flower Tufted Bath Mat

Flowers in tufted pile read quite differently from flowers printed on fabric: the pattern is built from the yarn itself, so the petals have depth and the colour does not fade off the surface with washing. Four designs are offered, from a scattered daisy field to a single large bloom, each in soft, faintly retro tones that suit a white bathroom or a coloured one.

The pile is short, dense and absorbent, drying quickly between uses rather than holding damp. Underneath, a bonded non-slip layer grips tile and vinyl. Four sizes take it well beyond the usual bath mat brief — 40 x 60 cm and 50 x 80 cm for beside a basin or shower, 60 x 90 cm along a bath, and 80 x 120 cm as a proper floor rug for a large bathroom, a dressing area or the foot of a bed.

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle and dry flat. Wet bathroom floors are a slip hazard: use the mat on a clean, dry, level surface, confirm the backing still grips after each wash, and take care with young children and anyone unsteady on their feet. The largest size is genuinely rug-scale, so it is worth considering for a bedroom or a dressing area if you want the pattern somewhere it will be seen properly.
