TerraLuxe COB LED Garden Bollard 30cm

Set along a gravel drive or at the turn of a path, this 30cm bollard puts light where feet actually go rather than into the eyes of anyone walking towards it. The housing combines stainless steel with a moulded polymer section in a plain grey finish that sits quietly against block paving, timber sleepers and planting alike. At under a third of a metre tall it reads as a marker rather than a lamp post.

Two supply options are offered, and both are ordinary UK garden practice. The 12V DC version runs from a garden lighting transformer, which steps mains down to low voltage before the cable reaches the garden; the 220-240V version connects directly to mains. Either way, this is work for a qualified electrician. The circuit must be isolated before any connection is made, and the ground checked for buried cables and pipes before you excavate for a cable run or a base.

A 15W COB LED sits behind the aperture, and you choose the character of the light at the point of ordering: 3000K warm white for a softer domestic glow, 4000K neutral white for a cleaner modern look, or 6000K cool white where crisp definition on steps and edges matters most. The IP65 rating covers rain and hose spray. Paths, terraces, driveways and border edges all suit it, and repeating one fitting at even spacing looks calmer than mixing types.
