Tilo Anthracite Pedestal Path Light

The Tilo stands 60 cm tall on a slim anthracite post, with a gently curved head that directs light downwards onto the path rather than out at eye level. The shape is understated, so a run of posts along a border reads as a line of light on the ground instead of a row of lamps, which is usually what a garden path wants after dark.

Integrated LEDs give a warm white glow at 2700 kelvin, the colour that keeps paving, gravel and planting looking natural once the sun has gone. The light draws 6.3 watts and delivers 537 lumens. An IP65 rating protects the fitting against dust and water jets, so it stays reliable through rain, frost and the garden hose. The aluminium body and polycarbonate lens are built for permanent outdoor use.

The flat base plate bolts down onto decking, a paving slab or a small concrete pad, so the position needs deciding before the cable is run. The output is enough to mark a driveway edge, a front path or a planted border without flooding the whole garden. Wipe the lens when the light starts to look dim, as dust builds up faster on a low fitting.
