Slim anthracite cylinder that lights the wall up and down
The Tovi throws light both upwards and downwards from a slim cylindrical body, washing the wall above and below with two soft pools. The die-cast aluminium housing carries a deep anthracite finish that sits quietly against brick, render or timber cladding, and the plain cylinder keeps the fitting from drawing attention to itself during the day.
An IP65 rating seals the fitting against dust and water jets, so it copes with British weather on an exposed wall through the whole year. Single-pane safety glass closes each opening. Two standard E27 sockets mean brightness and light colour stay a matter of choice rather than something fixed at the factory, so the same fitting can be soft and warm or bright and neutral depending on the lamps put in it.
At 25.2 cm tall, 10.8 cm wide and 14.3 cm deep, the Tovi suits doorways, garage walls, garden steps and balcony corners without crowding them. A pair either side of a door gives a symmetrical wash up and down the elevation. Mount at a consistent height along a run of wall so the beams line up, and check the glass and the seals for cobwebs, leaf litter and grit at the start of each season.
