The Trava Travertine Ceiling Light is a low profile flush fitting with a solid travertine ring and a walnut toned wood rim. It sits close to the ceiling at just 7 cm deep, which keeps it clear of doorways and low beams where a pendant would be in the way. The 30 cm opal diffuser spreads an even wash of light across a room instead of dropping one bright spot in the middle of it.

Travertine is a natural stone, so the pitted surface and warm beige veining differ slightly from one piece to the next. The wood rim frames the stone and picks up the tones of oak flooring and timber furniture. Within the Lockhone indoor lighting range it works in bedrooms, living rooms, entryways and landings where a soft ambient light suits the room better than a bright downlight.

The light source is an integrated warm white LED at 3000K, so the light reads soft rather than cold and there is no bulb to replace. The fitting is hardwired, which keeps the profile shallow and the ceiling line clean. A dry cloth or a soft brush is enough to keep dust out of the stone texture.
