Ultra Slim Rainfall Shower Head

The appeal of a rainfall head is the drop - water falling straight down over the shoulders rather than being fired at you from an angle. Getting that right needs surface area and an even spread, which is what the hundred nozzles across this face are for. The profile is kept genuinely slim, so the head reads as a thin plate on the end of the arm rather than a bulky box.

The body is solid brass under a chrome finish, so it resists the corrosion that eventually blisters plated plastic in a steamy room, and it has the weight to stay rigid on the arm without drooping. The nozzles are silicone and designed to be clog-free: a thumb rubbed across the face clears any limescale build-up, which is a real advantage in hard-water areas.

Three sizes are offered - twenty, twenty-five and thirty centimetres - and the wall arm gives roughly twenty-eight centimetres of projection so the head sits over you rather than against the wall. It is designed to perform under lower flow conditions, but on a gravity-fed system a larger head will always want more pressure. Check your setup, or ask a plumber, before choosing the largest size.
