Veona Oval Wood Pendant Light

The Veona Oval Wood Pendant Light hangs as a single closed loop of solid wood with a continuous line of LED light set into the inner edge. The oval measures 60 cm long by 20 cm wide, a proportion that sits well over a two to four seat dining table or a kitchen island, and because the light source faces inward and downward there is no bare glare at eye level across the table. Two fine steel cables carry it from a slim wooden canopy, so the ring appears to float below the ceiling rather than hang from it.

The wood is left in a pale natural tone with the grain running along the curve, and an acrylic diffuser fills the inner edge to spread the LED into an even line with no visible dots. Colour temperature changes through the wall switch across three settings, so the same fitting can run warm for an evening meal and cooler for work at the table. Every face of the loop is finished, which matters in an open plan room where the pendant is seen from the side and from below as often as head on.

Lockhone supplies the Veona as a hardwired indoor pendant rated IP20, running on 110V to 240V with the LED light source included, and suited to rooms of around 10 to 15 square metres such as a dining room, kitchen or living room.
